This year, more than half of all personal income taxes completed in Canada will be filed electronically. And if last year is any indication, more than three million of those returns will be prepared by Canadians who switched from pencil and paper to easy-to-use QuickTax tax preparation software.

For lower-income Canadians, Intuit Canada offers the QuickTaxWeb Freedom program. For households whose income is under $20,000, excluding dependents, Intuit Canada waives the payment requirement for those using QuickTax.
